Is a platform that functions similarly to “library archives” by collecting and organizing data about art through a website. This website is free and available for everyone to read, view images of art, and use for research. Each artist’s work is easily and readily available for access in various forms; photos, animated photos, audio data, interviews, et cetera.
In the first phase of Open Source Art Performance (OSAP), we have been provided funding by Thai Media Fund in the fiscal year 2019, to ensure that we are able to follow the goal of connecting people and art. This is both in terms of art creation, art interpretation and art data access in Thailand.
However we, the founding members, intend to go beyond the static library archive format. This platform will not merely retrieve or send data. We intend to create new possibilities through the coordination of many organizations. This could be compared to the coordinated effort toward creating books that will be used by the public in the future.
